70-plus Days in Release for "Faith, Hope & Love"

Updated: May 28, 2019

The Christian romantic comedy has never had wide distribution, but it does have staying power.

Faith, Hope & Love brought in almost $1,600 over the weekend, according to Box Office Mojo, while showing in just two theaters. Now in its 11th week in release, a tiny distribution footprint has been a challenge from the very beginning for this romcom from writer/co-director Robert Krantz, with 18 theaters being the most it ever played in simultaneously.

Krantz also stars in the picture, which focuses on two emotionally wounded people who are brought together by a dance contest. He plays opposite professional dancer Peta Murgatroyd - of Dancing with the Stars fame - and their story, undergirded by his character's Christian faith, is ultimately one of love and redemption.

The film also provides the laughs and benefits from a strong supporting cast that includes Christian actors Corbin Bernsen, Natasha Bure and Hollywood veteran Ed Asner.
