The Chosen: Last Supper - Part 1 brought in $11.7 million from Friday through Sunday, according to The Numbers website, getting the latest season of the hit show off to a strong start. The production came in third place both overall and on a per-theater basis among the Top-10, grabbing that latter position with average revenue of more than $4,700 in each venue. It also claims the crown for the best opening weekend for any of the theatrical releases from The Chosen, topping the $8.7 million earned by Season 3 - Episodes One and Two in 2022.

The series from director/creator and committed Christian Dallas Jenkins focuses exclusively on Holy Week this season, and it features all the highlights of Jesus' ministry from right before His Crucifixion. This first part is comprised of episodes one and two and will be followed starting on April 3rd by part two - episodes three through five - and then the third and final part - episodes six through eight - on April 10th.

If that's not enough, you will also have the opportunity to watch the entire eight-episode season on the big screen in one go on April 12th and 13th, and then again on April 19th and 20th. You can find out more and purchase tickets to a theater in your area via this link to the show's website.
