An Honor of Sorts for "Miracle on Christmas"

Our faith-based Yuletide feature gets another nod from a highly respected reviewing organization.

If you read these pages regularly, you know earlier this fall we released our inaugural movie, Miracle on Christmas, which was written and directed by yours truly. It is an uplifting tale of overcoming trials by relying on the steadfast love of God, with the support of family, and it stars Christian actors Erin Bethea and Jason Burkey.

As we reported back in November when the picture came out, it got a top rating for both quality, four stars out of four, and content, a plus four, from the Christian film reviewing organization Movieguide. Today, that outfit has once again given our movie a thumbs-up...actually two of them!

In a new article on its website, Movieguide first included Miracle on Christmas in a list of 12 new Christmas flicks worth watching with your family. And second, our film was the only one of those chosen to have earned highest marks for both quality and content. The competition is stiff, too, with multiple offerings from the likes of Netflix, which has big-name stars like Dolly Parton, Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn in leading roles in its Christmas productions.

You can check out the entire Movieguide list of recommended Yuletide films here and read their full review of Miracle on Christmas here. If you haven't seen our movie yet, it is available to stream on Amazon Prime and Pure Flix, and to purchase at Amazon - in both the digital format and on DVD - and at Walmart stores, also on DVD.
