Another Movie on Tap from The Skit Guys

The success of their inaugural feature "Family Camp" has opened the way to a follow-up.

With a Top-10 finish at the box office on opening weekend back in May and total haul of nearly $4 milllion, Family Camp delivered the goods for the filmmakers. In fact, the faith-based production has apparently earned an encore performance for Eddie James and Tommy Woodard - better known as The Skit Guys - who star in the film.

That news comes directly from the Christian comedy team themselves in an interview with Christian Headlines. K-LOVE Films and Provident Films were the studios behind this picture and James says, they were pleased with the project and want another movie.

"So, the first one did well enough for them to ask, 'What's next?'"

There is as yet no firm answer to that question, though a sequel is evidently not in the cards, with Woodard saying he thinks "it'll be different storylines."
