Anybody in Hollywood Bolder about Sharing His Faith Publicly than Chris Pratt?

The A-list actor and outspoken Christian does it again - this time at the 2018 Disneyland Christmas Candlelight Ceremony.

The 63rd annual event took place over the weekend at the park in Anaheim, CA. Hundreds of choir members, an orchestra and a crowd of thousands gathered in front of the train station on Main Street to remember the first Christmas.

The star of the show, however, is the celebrity narrator - a role filled in years past by the likes of John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart and Gregory Peck. The honor fell to Pratt this year, and the Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World leading man did not disappoint, reading about the birth of Christ from the the Gospel of Luke and talking about how his love for his own young son gives a hint of God's love for us.

"The way we love our children and the more we love our children, the more we will understand the capacity of our Father in heaven to love us...That should give us all a great deal of comfort: I know it does for me."

Pratt rarely misses an opportunity to share his faith when journalists' cameras are rolling and their mics are hot, so this is nothing new. But in an industry that often seems radically secular, his boldness remains a bright light of encouragement.

You can watch the entire Disney event below. Chris Pratt comes to the microphone at about 13 minutes into it.
