The Christian sports drama has a significant increase in its theater count to thank for the rise in revenue.
Round of Your Life went from just two theaters the previous weekend to nine this weekend and brought in $8,100, according to numbers from Box Office Mojo. That puts it in 43rd place and nearly doubles its total revenue so far as the film moves into its third week in release.
From screenwriter Tim Ogletree, who also plays a prominent part in the picture, Round of Your Life tells the tale of a high school golf prodigy who resists using his gift until his father is seriously injured in a car accident. Evan Hara, in his big-screen debut, is that teenage linkster and his character relies on his faith and family to carry him through the ordeal and help him make the most of his God-given talent.
The film's Christian message is strong and it features some good supporting actors, including Christian player Richard T. Jones, Katherine Willis, Katie Leclerc, Alexandria DeBerry and Boo Arnold. As we mentioned, the movie is in limited release, so you can check theater locations via this link to find out if it's playing near you.
