Box Office Numbers for "Faith, Hope & Love"

The Christian romantic comedy soldiers on as its theater count dwindles.

Robert Krantz and Peta Murgatroyd in a scene from "Faith, Hope & Love."

Faith, Hope & Love took home a bit more than $8,000 over the weekend, down 22% from the previous Friday through Sunday period, according to The Numbers. The movie made that revenue while playing in only six theaters.

Christian Film Blog has lamented before about the tiny distribution footprint this faith-based romcom has endured: it has never gone higher than 18 theaters in its four weeks in release. Our lament stems from the fact that this is an entertaining picture and it deserves to be seen by a much wider audience.

Written and directed by Hollywood vet - and committed Christian - Robert Krantz, Faith, Hope & Love stars professional dancer Peta Murgatroyd in her film debut. She plays opposite Krantz in a budding romantic relationship connected to a dance competition in which their characters are partners. The film also features Christian actor Corbin Bernsen, Ed Asner and Natasha Bure, daughter of Christian actress Candace Cameron Bure.
