The Christian film tops its production budget at the end of its first week in theaters.
Indivisible came in 20th place at the box office over the weekend, according to Box Office Mojo, bringing in $760,000. That pushes its total revenue so far to $2.89 million, well above the $2.3 million it cost to make. Though a solid start, the movie still has some way to go to reach profitability since films typically need to more than double their budget to get into the black.
Starring Justin Bruening and Sarah Drew, Indivisible tells the true story of US Army chaplain Darren Turner and his wife Heather's struggle to save their marriage after his deployment to Iraq.
Two other Christian movies are nearing the end of their theatrical runs: Unbroken: Path to Redemption and God Bless the Broken Road. They brought in $4,400 and $1,500, respectively.
