The Christian actor swings by a Bubba Gump shrimp joint and shares fond memories with his social media supporters.
When he was 19 years old, long before he was famous, Chris Pratt worked as a waiter at a Bubba Gump outlet in Hawaii. In fact, that's where he was "discovered." A Hollywood director spotted him and the rest, as they say, is history.
Clearly still a fan of the chain, the Jurassic World and Guardians of the Galaxy star stopped into one of the restaurants this week. He then put up a picture of himself on Instagram and shared some very interesting memories of his, shall we say, culinary exploits.
"Every time I go back I’m reminded of the thousands of shrimp I ate off of people’s plates on the way back to the kitchen."
We've heard of starving artists, but never starving waiters: now we know why! Chris also put in a good word for his former brethren.
"Please tip your server. Leave at least 20%. Also leave some shrimp."
Pratt is a busy man of late, last month announcing his engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger and gearing up for the release of his next picture - The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part - which comes out this weekend.
