Christian Actress has Paid a Price for her Faith

Candace Cameron Bure acknowledges that she's been a target of discrimination in Hollywood because of her beliefs.

She first became a star of the small screen in the 1980s on the sitcom Full House and is now a regular leading lady on the Hallmark Channel. Like her brother Kirk Cameron, she is also an outspoken Christian.

In an interview promoting her latest Hallmark movie, A Shoe Addict's Christmas, Candace Cameron Bure told the The Wendy Williams Show, she has lost work because of her beliefs.

"I have experienced discrimination in the faith department for sure, in my career."

She is, however, undaunted and continues to talk openly about her belief in Christ. In what is no doubt a demonstration of God's faithfulness, the discrimination has lessened over the years.

"I don’t experience it as much now, I think because so many people know me for it...I think they look to me for my faith. If they’re not looking for that, they don’t hire me."

You can catch Cameron Bure's newest Christmas movie on the Hallmark Channel this Saturday, December 1 at 6:00 PM EST/5:00 PM CST. In the meantime, check out at her interview with Wendy Williams.
