Tickets go on sale today for Disciples in the Moonlight, which portrays an underground group struggling to keep God's Word in the hands of Believers. Set in the "not-too-distant future," the movie features a United States that "has banned the Bible for its 'offensiveness' and replaced it with a government-approved version," as the synopsis puts it.

The picture stars actor Brett Varvel - a committed Believer who also directed it - and several other Christian actors, including Todd Terry and Micah Lynn Hanson. In the story, they are among the leaders of a group determined to supply real Bibles to churches throughout the Midwest, pursued all the while by a "ruthless federal agent" determined to stop them.

We here at Christian Film Blog know all three of the aforementioned actors personally and worked with Varvel and Hanson on our 2020 feature film, Miracle on Christmas. They are talented and bring onscreen presence and years of experience to any role they play. While we have not yet seen this movie, the trailer below is both dynamic and tension-filled, as you will see.

Disciples in the Moonlight is scheduled for an eight-day theatrical run, starting July 17th, and you can purchase tickets to a venue in your area via this link to the website of distributor Fathom Events.
