That's quite an achievement for the Christian film, considering it's playing in fewer than 20 theaters.
Now in its second weekend in limited release, Faith, Hope & Love brought in just under $23,000, according to preliminary numbers from Box Office Mojo. That puts it in 54th place in revenue from Friday through Sunday.
This romantic comedy was written and directed by Christian actor Robert Krantz, who also plays the lead role. His character is a widower and single father who falls for a dance instructor played by Peta Murgatroyd, acting in her debut performance. A professional dancer, she is a known commodity on the small screen, having starred for many seasons on Dancing with the Stars.
This picture is currently playing in only 17 theaters and we at Christian Film Blog have not seen it because it has yet to come to the Phoenix area where we are based. That will change this coming weekend, however, so we should have a review Thursday or Friday.
As for the rest of the country, the website for Faith, Hope & Love indicates it will expand to at least 24 theaters this week and there may be more to come. You can keep track via this link. And if the trailer is any indication, it looks like fun.
