"Family Camp" Holds Firm in the Top-15 at the Box Office

Updated: Jun 6, 2022

This faith-based comedy turns in another solid performance in its fourth weekend in release despite a big drop in theaters.

Though the revenue trajectory continues a downward slide, Family Camp dropped just one spot from a week ago, coming in 15th overall at the box office from Friday through Sunday. It brought in $152,000 from 403 theaters over the weekend, according to Box Office Mojo.

The first feature film from the Skit Guys comedy duo of Eddie James and Tommy Woodard has earned more than $3.7 million total through 24 days in release. We suspect it will have a difficult time cracking the $4 million threshold, though, with the theater-count dynamic being what it is: the movie has shed 45% and 30% of its venues over the last two weekends. Christian Film Blog reckons the picture will run for a couple weeks more, however, so you still have a chance to catch it on the big screen.
