Chonda Pierce: Unashamed turned in good numbers at the box office in a limited, nationwide engagement this week. The film brought in $787,000 in just two nights, according to Box Office Mojo, coming in seventh place overall Tuesday and fourth place on Thursday.

The documentary, which features a mix of one of Chonda Pierce's stand-up comedy routines and interviews with prominent Believers like muscian Michael Tate of The Newsboys, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee and real estate entrepreneurs the Benham Brothers - David and Jason, focused on Christians who have taken a stand in public life for the Gospel of Christ.

The film was distributed by Fathom Events, which specializes in limited engagements like this one and had put out previous productions from Pierce. Among all of that distributor's movies, this one ranks 49th in terms of box office performance.
