The apocalyptic thriller is wrapping up its fifth weekend in movie theaters.
Homestead brought in just shy of $570,000 over the weekend, according to The Numbers website, putting it in 13th place overall at the box office from Friday through Sunday. More importantly, it pushes the picture's total North American ticket sales above the $20-million mark: it now sits at $20.2 million through 31 days in release.
The faith-based film stars Neal McDonough, Bailey Chase and Jesse Hutch and is based on a 2018 book entitled Black Autumn. The action plays out after a nuclear bomb is detonated in Los Angeles, forcing a group of armed survivalists to hole up in a fortified compound.
