For the second consecutive weekend, Homeland claimed ninth place at the box office. It brought in $2 million from Friday through Sunday, according to The Numbers website, down from approximately $3.1 million a week earlier. Through 17 days in release, the apocalyptic thriller has now generated a solid $17.4 million in total ticket sales.
An adaptation of a 2018 book entitled Black Autumn, the faith-based film stars Neal McDonough, Bailey Chase and Christian actor Jesse Hutch. After a nuclear attack on Los Angeles, their characters lead a group of armed survivors to a self-styled fortress to live through the coming chaos.
