"Indivisible" Marches up the All-Time Christian Box Office List

Less than two weeks after its debut, the Iraq War film is now in the Top 60.

Indivisible has brought in more than $3 million so far, which is good for 56th place, according to Box Office Mojo. Having already surpassed it $2.3 million production budget, it has a good chance to become profitable; movies typically need to more than double their budgets to do that.

Directed by David Evans and starring Justin Bruening and Sarah Drew, it tells the true story of US Army chaplain Darren Turner and his wife Heather and their struggle to save their marriage after his deployment to Iraq. The film powerfully demonstrates how the couple reconciles through prayer and Christian marriage counseling and it has received positive reviews in the Christian community (Christian Film Blog rated it an 8.5 out of 10).

Barring a drastic reduction in its theater count, Indivisible should generate approximately $500,000 through this coming weekend. It needs about $1 million more to move into the Top 50, something it is likely to do in the next few weeks.
