Best known for decades of work on television talk shows, Kathie Lee Gifford has devoted much of this year to writing books. First it was a children's book, Hello, Little Dreamer, and now the former co-host of the fourth hour of the Today show is out with one for folks at the other end of the age spectrum: It's Never Too Late.

According to a summary from Gifford's Christian publisher, Thomas Nelson, the book offers, "Wisdom and inspiration for women approaching major life-change milestones, helping them pursue what really matters in life," which is something the author herself has experienced since stepping down from Today in the spring of last year.

In the following 19 months, in addition to authoring the books, she has released a movie she wrote and starred in - Then Came You - directed a beautiful music video starring Christian singer Nicole C. Mullen, co-written songs with singer/songwriter Brett James, put out a virtual Bible study tour of the Holy Land, and moved from Connecticut to Nashville, TN. Wow, at 67 years old, the woman is an absolute dynamo!

In this newest book's first chapter, titled "Begin Again," Kathie Lee states that while aging is "not for the faint of heart," she feels "this next season in my life has the potential to be the best season." And though famous and financially well off, it's not as if she's been on a glide path of comfort and easy, having endured several emotionally debilitating years following the death of her husband Frank Gifford in 2015.

Saying in a social media post that "God placed His dreams in your heart for a reason," Kathie Lee hopes her book will prove an encouragement to others facing serious challenges.

"I wrote this book because I want you to know that whatever circumstances we face, God is still dreaming big for our years ahead."

The book, which features a foreword from country music legend and fellow Tennessee resident Dolly Parton, comes out tomorrow. It is available at christianbook.com for $17.99 in hardcover and $14.99 in eBook format and can also be found at other booksellers.
