The Christian actors will star together for the first time in a movie that is set in Iceland.
Despite being the Hallmark family of channel's leading lady and leading man, Lacey Chabert and Kristoffer Polaha have never played opposite each other in any of the outfit's productions...until now. They star together in The Christmas Quest, one of 32 new pictures that will air in the Hallmark Channel's annual "Countdown to Christmas" programming event, which launches October 18th and features round-the-clock Yuletide movies, including a new one debuting every Friday, Saturday and Sunday leading up to Christmas.
They are not the only Christian actors playing leading parts in the new movies, with Tamera Mowry-Housley in Scouting for Christmas on October 20th, Nikki DeLoach in Our Holiday Story on the 2nd of November, and on November 24th, Eric Close in one entitled To Have and to Holiday.
Back to The Christmas Quest, it features Chabert and Polaha in Iceland on the hunt for a lost treasure, and "in a race to keep it from falling into the wrong hands," as the synopsis puts it. That one will air on December 1st and you can check out the trailer below to get a better feel for the movie. This link will take you to Hallmark Channel's website for a listing of air dates and times for all of this year's Christmas productions.
