She is one of several Christian actors set to star in this year's Yuletide productions on the network.
Lacey Chabert must be justifiably pleased with a coming milestone in her long-running tenure at the Hallmark family of channels: this season she will set a record when she stars in her 12th Christmas movie. The Mississippi native plays the lead in a production called Haul Out the Holly, in which her character is pressured to join in on Christmas activities in a neighborhood where she is house sitting for the holidays.
Chabert is very likely the biggest Hallmark star who remained at the network after many others, including fellow Christian actress Candace Cameron Bure left over the last year for competitor channel Great American Family, as we wrote here. Chabert's film this season is meant to deliver plenty of comedy, and in a recent social media post she says she "never laughed so much on set making a movie."
Haul Out the Holly will debut on Hallmark Channel on Saturday, November 26th as one of 31 movies in this year's Countdown to Christmas campaign. The Yuletide parade of films kicks off Friday, October 21st and runs into late December.
Among other Christian actors with leading roles are Kristoffer Polaha in We Wish You a Married Christmas, airing Saturday, October 22nd, and Tamera Mowry-Housley in Inventing the Christmas Prince, which runs on Friday, November 18th. Most of the movies start at 8:00 PM EST, but you can check the entire list via this link to Hallmark Channel's website to find programming details.
