The Christian film moves into its third month in release.
Run the Race earned a bit more than $12,000 at the box office over the weekend, enough to put it in 65th place overall, according to The Numbers. Now showing in only 39 theaters, it has a total haul of $6.4 million since it debuted back in February.
From executive producers Tim Tebow and Robby Tebow (Tim's older brother), Run the Race stars Tanner Stine and Evan Hofer as brothers in difficult life circumstances. They are forced to rely on each other, their athletic ability and their Christian faith to find a way out.
The movie was written by Christian actor/screenwriter Jake McEntire, who has a bit part, and also stars Kristoffer Polaha, Frances Fischer, Kelsey Reinhardt and Mykelti Williamson.
