Good news for fans of the streaming series Vindication, as T.C. Stallings is joining the show for its upcoming second season. Best known for his lead role in War Room, the Kendrick Brothers' top-grossing movie, Stallings will play a detective named Tre Millwood.

This episodic series stars another Believer - Todd Terry - in the of role of Gary Travis, a small-town detective and family man. In its inaugural season, which released in 2019, Vindication featured a strong list of Christian actors, including Emma Elle Roberts, Ashley Bratcher, Ben Davies and Stacey Bradshaw. The addition of Stallings brings another top-notch pro to the roster and, in a social media post, he makes clear he's looking forward to it.

"I am very excited to announce my new role, and honored to be joining this already great cast! Let's do it."

This latest role is not the only news for Stallings: he's got a faith-based feature film coming out later this month as well. It's called My Brother's Keeper and was directed by Kevan Otto, who last year served as producer of our inaugural movie, Miracle on Christmas. Christian Film Blog will have more on Stallings' new film in the weeks ahead.

As for Vindication, the first half of season two has already been shot, is currently in post production and is tentatively scheduled to release this spring, though no firm date is set. Production of the remaining episodes is now underway in Texas, where the series is based; those will be released at a later date.

In the meantime, season one is currently streaming on Pure Flix and RedeemTV, and can also be purchased via Amazon.
