That's a Wrap for the Kendrick Brothers' Next Movie

The faith-based filmmaking duo will now head into post-production on this as yet unnamed picture.

After approximately three weeks of shooting, the brother team of Alex Kendrick and Stephen Kendrick have their next movie in the can, as the saying goes. The film stars Christian actor Kirk Cameron and tells a story of a boy whose birth mother decided against an abortion at the last minute and subsequently gave him up for adoption.

Few other details are known about the project and, as we've reported, what little is known has come from Alex Kendrick's social media posts. In the latest one, he announces that they've finished filming and acknowledges they "did this one (the film) very quietly." The Georgia native and former pastor was also quick to give glory to the Lord.

"God is faithful, He has been good. And we're very excited about this one. God bless you."

There's no word yet on a release date for the movie, but Kendrick promises in that post to continue to update fans via social media. Christian Film Blog will keep track and report on developments as we get them.
