For the second time in as many weeks, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever landed in tenth position at the box office, and it did so despite a significant fall in revenue over the same period. According to The Numbers website, it brought in $780,000 from Friday through Sunday, down from nearly $1.3 million the previous weekend.

From Christian director Dallas Jenkins - the creator of The Chosen - this movie is based on a 1972 children's book by the same name and focuses on a town that has its eyes opened to the true meaning of Christmas when six outcast siblings take the leading parts in its annual Nativity story play.

Through 45 days in theaters, the picture has generated $38.4 million in domestic revenue. It is currently playing in 861 venues, having topped out above 3,000 when it first released in early November.
