A showdown looms as every group in Capernaum converges on Jesus.
The Chosen releases episode six of Season 3 this weekend and show creator/director Dallas Jenkins promises in a social media comment that this installment "is a big one," featuring "big stuff heading to the finale." That, of course, will come in a couple of weeks in the eighth and last episode of this season.
In the meantime, this next episode - Intensity in Tent City - will feature the Jesus character, played by Jonathan Roumie, confronting all comers in Capernaum, from His disciples and pilgrims to Jewish religious leaders and the Romans. Pontius Pilate, too, will make an appearance and the ongoing tension between the Apostle Peter and his wife continues to play out. Jenkins also promises to deliver "a surprise scene" that he feels sure viewers will love.
Episode six releases in a livestream on Sunday, January 15th, at 7:00 PM ET (GMT -5) on the show's YouTube channel, and via its app: Google Play / App Store; Jenkins intends to share what he describes in a social media post as "a time-sensitive announcement...about the Season Finale," as well. Until then, the trailer below will give you a better feel for what to expect.
