Weekend number five saw The Unbreakable Boy play in just 146 theaters - down from a high of 1,717 a few weeks ago - and deliver a modest $51,000 in ticket sales, according to The Numbers website. That put the film, from the producer duo of Andrew and Jon Erwin, in 28th place overall at the box office from Friday through Sunday.

Adapted from a book and based on a true story, the film stars Zachary Levi, Christian actress Patricia Heaton, and child actor Jacob Laval, who plays a boy with a real enthusiasm for life despite suffering from autism and brittle bone disease. Through 31 days in release, it has generated total revenue of $6.4 million.
